Has anyone got one? and if so can you please tell me how the shampooing bit works, I have managed to soak all carpets and not a drop has been sucked up. My main confusion is do I have to switch between showering water, and sucking up in the same operation? I too scared to try it in case it blows up! Easy instructions please and thank you.

Well you wouldn't have liked this winter then, neti, it's been global-warming-mild I'm afraid, and by now spring has already sprung. The local winos are singing all day long beneath my window (on the benches in "my" park), one of them's got a guitar. If I hadn't recognized the lyrics I wouldn't have known what the songs were. Yesterday's local hit was Tomorrow is a long time, over and over... Good song, though! Remember? Here's another one that Rod used to sing

grrrr, what a Friday 13. Went off to an opticians appointment only to find the motorway coveredin cones... the lane I got into turned out to go straight past my junction... had to go the next one and come back by which time I'd missed my slot. Can't get another one till May. Spent ages calling the bank to ask where my debit card was and they said I'd signed for it in Feb... sure enough there it was sitting on the table, probably for months, I'd forgotten...bah

anyway, to cheer everyone up here is an art lesson

morning fogies & foggies...woke up with a start at 6.15 & thought there was a funny atmosphere (I have been eating mushy peas all week)...looked out to see a pea-souper! Couldn't even see as far as my friend's new brindle block paving drive with the buff edgings.

jno you should try living in Notts/Derbys at the moment - those wanting to leave the M1 & go into Nottm now have to come to Derby, go round the island & back up the other side - crazy.

Hi All.Thankyou Robi for the card. I feel quite relieved now I have finished. They were quick off the mark at work I received a letter today asking for my uniform, locker key and discount card. I'm still discount shopping (stocking up on stuff like washing powder and stuff that will keep) so they can have the card after next Saturday which is offically my final day.
The fog has now lifted and it's a beautiful day.
Had a good Rock and Roll last night which was surprising as the guy who was playing didn't look like a Rocker. He did play quite a good guitar but he had backing tapes which I dont particularly like. I'm off out again tonight. It's all or nothing with me innit!

Dreadful day here, Been raining since 8pm last night, leccy just back on after 1hr - Mr N cooked me an good old illegal fry-up, but hey you need something to cheer you up. Wan't to pop to village to buy some mags but it's just too wet and don't want to risk catching a cold as even now I feel "quiet" if you know what I mean.

Hi All You've all given me a good laugh this afto and I needed one after The Rams Shambles. Wont go into it but they were abysmal. Thanks for the cards and jokes. Done a lot of gardening today. My gardener has done all the weeding and tidying up so I can cope with it now. Going to have a nice soak in the bath after the M.U. match
No Neti dont use Sains. Jumbo Pegs I've got zillions collected over the years. All colours shapes and sizes.
