Has anyone got one? and if so can you please tell me how the shampooing bit works, I have managed to soak all carpets and not a drop has been sucked up. My main confusion is do I have to switch between showering water, and sucking up in the same operation? I too scared to try it in case it blows up! Easy instructions please and thank you.

Not seen or heard our entry yet, or any other countires come to that. I was at work Saturday night so missed the Making Your Mind Up programme.

I actually love the Eurovision song Contest, watch it every year, though think i'll miss this years as I now work every Saturday night :-(

We don't get it over here, as we have Sky only, but have checked on internet. Hopefully on the one Spanish channel we can get, it'll have Eurovision but probably not.

Ahhh so you work on Saturday nights eh?? Want to borrow my rubber outfit!

BTW it not Mothers Day in Spain until first Sunday in May, so keeping fingers crossed. Today is Spanish Fathers Day(San Jose) We are ignoring it!!

Diggiloo-Diggiley was 23 years ago, I think we've healed since then. And you, Vincent, are a fine one to bemock our seventies revival if that's what it is. I saw you last summer on the Woolacombe beach, strutting your stuff. I couldn't sleep that night.

While I'm at it - boasting - I really and earnestly would like to show you this chair that my half-sister built. She's the one that's studying to be a cabinet maker and this is one of her feats during her apprenticeship. (Not the design, though, that's an architect named Nils Gulin.) Just wanted to show you, as I'm proud of her.

I did actually hear the Brit Eurovision song today, whilst the song itself isn't THAT bad the way they dress and do the daft dances throughout it makes me cringe, ruddy glad I'll miss it on the night, it'll be highly embarrassing!

I really just came to tell you that a rare beetle has been found in Devon....I just knew that Vinny was one of those 'orrible little monsters that kept creepy crawlies in matchboxes....mind you they thought it became extinct 60 yrs ago....he must be fibbin' about his age as well....

We've got flood warnings here

Even the birds have deserted me ....ungrateful little B's after I ground up a load of breadcrumbs and suet for them.
We've had all sorts this morning already,sun,sleet,rain and hail ! Proper chs and soup weather.
No lecky Vinny ? these are good .You might need a longer bit of string though.

kerrrrikey....the word for the weather here is EVIL! that wind cuts right through you. And it doesn't help when plonkers stuff things in the letterbox keeping it open....bet it was one of them there carpet cleaning cowboys that try to scare the bejeezus out of you with pics like

I have been trying to dry me bit of soggy carpet off with the hairdryer ! At least the washing machine is working OK now How was I to know you are supposed to empty that filter thing ! My son can "Tut tut mother you are supposed to empty it regularly " with the best of 'em you know !
Could somebody rescue a pair of bloomers and a bathtowel from a telegraph pole in Derby please ..

I'm not allowed to empty my filter thingy as last time I did, I screwed it back too tightly and broke the thread, hence water everywhere, luckily my laundry room is outside so water just flows through garden, but no so good on a chilly dark wet night when I am loading it up on timer for the next morning.

Letter boxes in houses, how ancient!! We have post boxes on our walls, OK anyone passing by can help themselves but that's the price of progress:

Hi everybody It's windy and cold today even though the sun has been out, very deceiving. Went and had a Red Tai Chicken Curry and prawn crackers to warm myself up with my friends after Tai Chi. Then rounded it off with a raspberry brulee. Loverly!! Quizing tonight I think if my friend isn't so tired now! She's home because I can see her car from here but she's not been in touch yet. Might just stop in and watch the footie. Hope you are all ok today. Bye for now :o) X
