My oil heating boiler is not firing up. If I press the reset button it comes on maybe an hour then will not fire up again. Anyone any ideas as what could be wrong?

Sorry to bother you folks again . Along the cutting edge of the blade there are small 'divets' / 'gouges' that's appeared through long term use .  Are they classed as 'serrations' on the blade or ... ...
