Is it ok to send silver or costume jewellery to Australia? (Just a small gift for my granddaughter).

Hope all's well Robi, with you and yours. I've been thinking about you with love.
I'm off to Leicester today to meet a cousin. Fuschia and Gardenia, another cousin, are going with me. The lady we are meeting is in here eighties and lively as a kitten. She lives in Market Harborough so that's why we meet in Leicester.
I'm not coming on here again until Murray has played because I'm going to try and keep the result quiet until I get back and see if I can catch it without finding out the result. Not very likely is it!!?

Lovely Robinia ,what a litle darling .Hope they are all doing well.
Hope all biddies are ok today,it was very hot here yesterday but cooler this today.
I in awful muddle .What should have been a simple job has turned into a nightmare .There's something wrong with my pipes and it's too complicated even for Picky the wonder plumber,and even my brother and next door neighbour were flummoxed so have to get British Gas in to have a shufti .At one stage yesterday I had four men peering under the sink.Pip pip fornow

Oh shaney isn't it awful when that happens. Mr N hates jobs that "won't take a minute!" cos this is invaribly the result!
Mr N seems to be in a "quiet" mood (sulking I call it, probably cos we shouted yesterday, twit!) and I wanted the car today! Well he's got a perfectly decent renault Express van which I can't drive cos not insured.Just colouored my hair a light beige, still drying naturally atm but seems interesting.
After blowing up of the lilo, the cat clawed it in the night and it now has a slow puncture, and I cannot be bothered to blow it up again. Just blown up a smaller green one, by mouth (not too spinny),
Have a lovely very shiny dark royal blue nail varneish so am off to do toenails.

My sympathy with the pipework Shaney. When we had new baths put in, the man who did it only disconnected the old ones and reconnected the new ones, didn't change anything, and the result that the when we emptied the sinks upstairs, one of the new baths filled up! he had to redo most of the drainage to sort it and couldn't work out why it had happened.
Weird morning. I had hayfever and a sinus head around 9 so i took one paracetamol (half dose) and a half dose of havfever med. I felt a little sleepy and when I opened my eyes again it was half past one!! have had some coffee and am awake now just about.
Its a lovely day here, bright and cool. I should be doing washing...maybe later
