Sending Jewellery to Australia

Is it ok to send silver or costume jewellery to Australia? (Just a small gift for my granddaughter).

Just finished dinner, Mr N had his cous cous and I had arroz cubana with fried eggs and banana, love it.

Sweating like a pig, waiting for satellite man to collect his yearly fee but am in bed now so if he leaves it much longer I´ll be asleep.

Shaney after I had my new mixer taps fitted last Thursday every time I turned the taps off or flushed the loo or when the washing machine filled with water then stopped, my pipes have been bump bump bumping 4 and 5 times. I've been whittling myself away. My friend who knows about these things tells me it sounds like a mains hammer and to ring the water board to see if they can lower the pressure through the meter. I've done that and they say it is a private matter. So it's back to the plumber....
First the leak, then a new appliance, then the pipes problem, you are copying me I'm sure. Let's hope I win the lotto on Wednesday.

That's enough moaning about plumbing..When I got home I didn't know how Murray was doing and when I switched on he had just won the first set. So a cuppa tea and a sit down to watch him win in 3.
I had a lovely lunch in Leicester (the 4 of us)then we went for a walk round John Lewis before getting our bus back home.
Now I'm off to watch Djokovic win I expect!!

good morning. We are now up to walks on alternate days cos of Rabs bad leg and so far so good, might try taking him out both wed and thurs. Trying not to take hayfever tablet today as I don't want to lose another day..I didn't really come to until around 10pm.

Been away dog and house sitting for a few days and got back last night.

The garden has gone rampant in my three day absence and I am hurting like mad after my physio session yesterday. I know I was only 2 miles away for three days, but it's good to be home!

grey here too but cool and pleasant. Dogs are a bit bored today. I am sticking rigidly to alternate day walks as that seems to suit Rab's foot, although not the rest of him. Hoping to go back to daily walks this week though. If I could tell him not to charge around like a nutter, or to put up with being onlead when we go out, then he would heal faster sigh.

Hello ladies, just popping in quickly. Am cooking a meat and pot pie. It is rather hot here today and I have a stinking headache, which is unusual as I very rarely get headaches. This is time of day when I flag, absolutely no energy at all.

We went down to look at the sea and eat lunch. Chicken bits for the dogs and smoked salmon and cream cheese sarnie for me. There was a lovely seaweed scented breeze.

Morning all. I was late up today (10am), so quickly doing my chores. Mr is on a cout thank heavens or I woun't be able to tidy anything.

Rather warm and sticky here today.






Another lost post. Just to say good morning to yu all, anoher hot and sticky day here. My enter key keeps getting stuck! Was upo late today (10am) so am just doing a few chores before I go out and luckily Mr N is on a call out otherwise he'd be looling here and i wouldn't be able to do a thing. There's a damned Guardia (Police) helicopter flying round and round and low and noisily!
