I work in Saudi Arabia. I am currently employed in an area of the country that has seen no security incidents since 9/11. Now the company is forcing me to move to an area of the country where there has been one major security incident since 9/11 where an expat compound was attacked. When I signed my contract (construed in accordance with UK law) it was in accordance with rules set out by the company, one of which was that I may be required to work anywhere in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I signed that contract before the events of 9/11 and the change in security state in Saudi. How do i stand legally on this one. Do I have any come back on the company as they are telling me I must go. At no point have they asked me IF I will go

Thanks md0098. That was how I thought I stood. I think a 1500+km drive or a 2 hour flight is a little more than just down the road.
