What Shall I Do?
I've deiced to make a new thread so I'm having trouble at work I been getting 37.5 hours per week but bow said they havent got the budget to pay me overtime.I got 10 which is 2 hours per day which im not happy about. Before after my 2 week trial on the till they said they would give me my new contract I don't why they haven't unless because someone came back or after my probation. I'm also having trouble with a supervisor I don't think she likes me but she brought there have been issues with me scanning items wrong and they loosing stock. I don't feel respected.

The new position sounds quite demanding and you have really struggled with all the jobs over the past couple of years. If you really think you could cope with what's expected in that new job, I wish you well. Having seen how much you've struggled is why I suggested you might be better working out exactly what you'd want to do, workwise - and then making that happen, either through college or training,something. As it is, I feel you could be lurching into another 'this'll do' job that doesn't sound ideal for you.
Goods Dispatch duties
o Picking and packing of product for despatch.
o Handling of despatch and sales documentation.
Packing & Stores duties
o Preparation of raw materials for production.
o Pack products ready for sale.
o Warehouse/Goods in/Stock movement
Skills Required
· Understanding of CoSHH in the workplace would be desirable but not essential.
· Ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently, thoroughly and reliably.
· Ability to record data accurately on forms.
· Manual dexterity.
· Manual handling – moving, carrying, loading and stocking of boxes of circa 20 kilos.
· Able to use step ladders.
· Able to move heavy trolleys and pallets (with mechanical assistance where appropriate).
Able to visually inspect materials for very small defects.9
