Mosaic "everything has killed someone at some point" this has to be the stupidest thing you have ever said, and that's saying something.
"Driving under the influence of weed is as lethal as alcohol" WRONG there have been tests on people who drive on weed and there is no difference to someone sober.
As far as dealing with criminals, who said anything about that? He grows his own for himself so he doesn't need to deal with criminals.
Mrs overall, I'm sorry about your friends son, but it wasn't the weed that killed him it was the car that hit him.
vinrex have you got any factual evidence about those tests? a link etcet? please?
''Driving under the influence of weed is as lethal as alcohol" WRONG there have been tests on people who drive on weed and there is no difference to someone sober.''

Sorry but that is utter rubbish... I know from past personal experience...
had the car fixed yet, snags?
I'm not proud of the fact... it was a long time ago. I've also been driven by someone under the influence of weed and it definitely effects driving reactions and road awareness...
I imagine if weed didn't affect you you'd ask for your money back. Heightening awareness and speeding up reaction times aren't usually listed among its effects. God, I'd love some guacamole.
Woofgang -bet he's glad he didnt get the nasal spray.........;)
''God, I'd love some guacamole''

See me round the back of LIDL at 8pm... come alone... bring money...

This is the first site that came up on google, I actually heard what I wrote on a tv program but it along the same lines
''Drivers under the influence of illicit drugs do experience an enhanced fatality risk compared to sober drivers. However, this risk is approximately three times lower than the fatality risk associated with drivers who operate a vehicle above or near the legal limit for alcohol intoxication.''

The risk 'may' be lower... but you saying previously that ''there is no difference to someone sober'' is ludicrous...
vinrex can you say "biased website"?

As I said snags, I heard it on tv but I'll find a reference to tests that were done in the 60's or 70's which also backed my first comment.
Woofgang, the site may be slightly bias but it's no where near as bias as say "Frank" which is government run.
''I'll find a reference to tests that were done in the 60's or 70's''

I wonder how relevant tests that were performed up to over 40 years ago really are...
Question Author
Well it was a lot longer than that when they deemed weed to be bad for you and those results are still held up by government today, even though they hired scientists a couple of years back who came out and said that it was fine to use it, then they sacked them for telling the truth
They didn't say it was fine, they said the current legal system wasn't stopping it.
why are you so worried about it if it's a "friend"
vinrex, the levels of THC in dope today are much higher than they were 30/40 years ago so those tests can`t have much relevance today, surely?
^ Excellent point.
Getting mesmerised by the pretty lights coming the other way is definitely not going to make you a safer driver!!
Assuming you're actually looking where you're going in the first place and not grubbing about in the foot well for that Snickers bar...
