Islam, the religion of peace and love.
77 Answers
I have just received three powerpoint files with graphic pictures of what happens to the arm of an 8 year old boy who pinched some food on a market, very disturbing photos of homo sexuals and how women are disfigured who refuse to marry the man that is chosen for them.
This is all done in the name of peace and love to make the offenders aware of their shortcomings, the religion of peace and love.
Should we actively reject this cruel and invasive religion in Society or should we continue as now, so we will all be subjected to this religious law in the future?

I said I agreed with you, Ratter, is is barbaric. Not for one moment do I think it's "ok". Far from it.
I just don't agree with the OP, who says "we will all be subjected to this religious law in future".
Not making light of what goes on.
There will always be the extremists, in this country also, that think this kind of behavior is right, but it will never get to the point where we are subjected to it. That's all I'm saying, Ratter.

This is supposed to be a peaceful religion, at least that is what is said about most Muslims living here, but it doesn't say much for the young men who go back to visit their respective countries and come back with anti-English ideas. Shari'a law is dreadful and has no place in the modern world. It seems to be a catch-all situation where the faithful are made to toe the imams' line. It is causing a lot of stress among younger muslim children, hopefully they will be able to compromise in years to come.
"I don't think we will be subjected to this religious law in future. Young Muslims growing up in this country will be educated and will become a different species from their parents and grandparents who came here from backward societies. They will not choose oppression over freedom."
Nami, I'm not sure I agree entirely. While a lot of Muslims do become Westernised a lot of the younger ones are the ones becoming radicalised and turning to extremism, sometimes horrifying their parents, who truly were peace loving. Their parents came here to work and make a better life for themselves but younger Muslims find themselves caught between two cultures and in need of something to turn to.
However, the radicals are not representative of all Muslims, although stringent effors should be made to ensure the sort of barbarism spoken about above doesn't enter the UK, in the name of ANY religion.
