Car Club
My son has decided to give up owning a car for a while and join a car club instead, but will he lose his no claims bonus and have to start over again like a new driver? I think that will be expensive if and when he gets another car, he is doing this to see how much money he can save.

Thanks to you all, I will tell him what you say, he and his family should be a lot healthier by next Christmas, they are already enjoying biking and walking and say how much you miss when in a car (wildlife etc) // shouldn't that read ( how much you hit when in a car ( wildlife etc )?

Cambridge near me has a car club. I have to say that if you live in the centre of Cambridge owning a car is more of a problem than not having one.The city is relatively compact and the public transport is excellent. It is however virtually impossible to drive a car through let alone find a parking space.
I would give up my car for a car club if I lived in central Cambridge or London.
