What's the big deal? It's a TV prog that many enjoy. Why have we got to go into all this PC stuff?

That's my issue Paigntonian. The actor I'd like to see take over the role happens to be black. I don't want him because he is black, I want him because he has the enigmatic quality I associate with The Doctor. Problem is, those who cry foul of all things woke will just see a black guy and start chest beating. Makes me kind of adverse to him in the role, which is a shame.

Interesting that the three favourites, Jo Martin, Michaela Coel and Richard Ayoade are all black. That should get some gammons frying.
