Sir Keir says work has already begun on negotiating changes to the Botched Boris Brexit deal.

My thoughts on the EU are the same now as before the referendum, in which I didn't vote. As I've said before, I didn't vote because I didn't think it would make the slightest difference to ordinary folk, if we were in, or out of the EU. I still think that.

We intend to improve our relationship with the EU and that means closer trading ties says Sir Keir .I think I can get a much better deal than the botched one Boris saddled the UK with.

more fantasy land or do you have a link?

            😎Whens the next referendum?😎

I'm sure the EU would. But they mean to B it up further in an attempt to control the UK even more than they presently have.

Trouble is, we have a suspicion that the government won't stand firm but will be gullible enough to welcone it.  If it turns out to be so, then there'll be ructions when a patriotic government gets in and has to tear it all up.

09.59 TTT.                                                                                         😎Ah the Leader of the AB Opposition Party has joined us😎.

Oh, and of course the deal was botched because the EU would not move forward without the botch concessions. The deal was stuck until they were given their border across the UK. The problem is that when the agreement proved detrimental, as expected, no one kicked off the renegotiation talks.

And so begins the stitch up.

I don't know if this would make an acronym that'd roll off the tongue, but how about: OINO?

Out In Name Only.

I'm sure Brussels and Labour could come to an agreement.

The green shoots, or sprouts as they may yet be known.

10:18 Sounds like the BRINO that May was trying to inflict on us.

If Starmer does re/join the EU .Which is now looking highly Likely.     Would it take as long to get in as it did to get out?

Thank goodness for Keir Starmer and his pledge that the UK will not rejoin either the EU, the single market or the customs union within his lifetime, in his firmest promise yet that Labour will not seek much closer relations with Europe for as long as he is prime minister.

The Labour leader told reporters on Wednesday he did not think Britain would go back into any of the three blocs while he was alive, all but ruling out rejoining even if he wins a second term.  Asked (last week) whether he could see any circumstances where the UK rejoined the single market or customs union within his lifetime, Starmer said: “No. I don’t think that that is going to happen. I’ve been really clear about not rejoining the EU, the single market or the customs union – or allowing a return to freedom of movement.”

So stop talking bullcrust, gulliver.

He also said some women have penises.  His tenure could be shorter-lived than he's bargaining for.

He definitely has a short tenure :)

And that's not all he's short of.  πŸ˜‚
