Anyone know if this reality show will be back on Ch 5? I know I'm sad, but cannot get BBC or ITV so have to rely on Ch 5, and I do get so engrossed and enraged, really get carried away with it all.

that does sound like a root canal treatment, neti. I had one of them once and the anaesthetic didn't work. I kept waiting for the dentist to ask me "Is it safe?"
Ouch Neti ..that sounds painful .Hope it soon settles down x

Sorry folks, you all know what a wimp I am, mouth still frozen, but have eaten macaronis and apricot tart and cream (made by hija). Sister said that the price here is so much cheaper than in England!
Back in bed catching up on the soaps. Mr N has surprised us by saving after big shop on Friday we are going to have a jolly time with mojitos and friends, yay!
Hope your mouth feels better soon Neti.

I have a national health dentist and there is a scale of charges for various things. How do these charges compare with Spain. I don't think I have ever gone over band B.

Am off to bed shortly. Am really tired. I did loads of cleaning when I eventually got going.
enjoy your good time Neti, you have been really brave, I HATE the dentist. Sis is here and fine. cookies turned out lovely, we are going to take some round to my mate tomorrow when we go for coffee.
Oight, oight x
Tired , really tired and off to bed .
Glad your sister has arrived safely Woofy ...♫Save just one cookie for me ♫
Oight Oight ..sleep well.x
Goodnight all my Biddyfriends. Sleep tight. Hope you get some relief soon from your tooth problems soon Neti.
Robi about the battery, I saw your suggestion when I came home but when I took it to the man in Westfield he said there was nothing wrong with the battery and he just cleaned it for me and he didn't want paying. How kind was that? He could have fooled me there couldn't he and charged me for a new one.
Goodnight Again. See yer later 'gater(s)
morning all, all quiet here so back to bed.

Morning all, having a lie in and then washing the bedsheets and all the bath things. Tooth is painful, can't be right can it? I cannot touch it, but there isn't a root, so how can it be so sore. Fed up with the whole thing.

Wow, I think my sister meant private treatment, although when I googled Root canal, it said that the NHS won't do it now.
Good morning, off out for coffee.

It depends on the Health Authority area Neti. Still available in most places, including where I am. Well it was until quite recently.
My friend, who lives in Spain, comes back here to go to the Dentist and the doctor and still keeps her English Address, which she has rented out. She obviously gets the best of both worlds.

I think there are pros and cons to Health Services wherever you live. I am satisfied here in North Norfolk - we seem to get better service than a lot of heavily populated areas and we get consistency of doctors.

When I get back I am going to unpack the Chrissy decorations and get some Christmas spirit.
<grumpy biddy totters in...>
Morning all...ouch neti, sorry you're in pain and I hope you feel better soon.
If it's any consolation you are not alone, I've been awake with a headache all night except the hours of 5am -7am when I drifted off into some silly dreams. It's still nagging and my face hurts so much on one side it's almost numb. Bah! humbug.
Good morning all. Sorry about your aches and pains Robi and Neti.
Lottie do you mean Christmas spirit 'feeling' or 'drink'. Enjoy you trip out for a coffee.
Would you believe, I don't know what to do today. That's the problem with types likes me. 'Get everything done yesterday' then you come to a day when you are at a loose end.
I think I'll go for a walk and then something may turn up. That's after Ken Bruce's Pop quiz.
See yer later
looks like quite a nice day out there. I'd go to the shops if I could remember what it was I wanted. neti, I imagine your aching mouth is down to bruising; all the drilling and filing does take it out of you. 600mg of ibuprofen and wait till the doctor returns from hospital. It seems to cost £47 here

but I've always paid more as it's been part of having crowns put in.
Sorted. Went to see a friend who I used to work for. She had a little shop near where I live. So I took her card and delivered it directly instead of throught the door. Had a lovely cuppa tea and a chat. This afternoon 'I'm Walking' as Bob Dylan says.
It's still, a lovely sunny day here and mild compared to what it has been.
Neti I think Jno's advice is sound, so I would take it and I hope it eases off for Christmas.
Chips lunch today with beef mince and veg. Yummy!

Went to the dentist as my whole cheek and eye is painful, and they gave me a strong painkiller which worked fine, but have an appointment again this afternoon at 16.30hrs, not that there's much she can do I suspect. Honestly if Mr N hadn't all that money, I would have it yanked out. Catching up on the washing have done our bedroom and will do the bathroom on Sat when I hopefully feel a bit better. Had to do my roots (only show on the crown,) but that only takes minutes, it's the drying naturally of the hair which takes hours.

Hope you are all getting in the Christmas spirit. Woofy glad sister is there with you, sounds fun.

Robi you poor thing, there's nothing worse is there, Mr N told me to put light on and read at 4.30am which did help me to settle again.
Oh dear Neti. You must be feeling so awful with all this pain and discomfort. Hope the appointment this pm is helpful. My grandmother would suggest brandy - it cured everything apparently. Good luck.
