New Bond

Ok...so who do you want to be the next James Bond?? Who do you NOT want it to be?? Please god don't let it be Jude (artificial) Law or Ewan (forever Rents) McGregor (SOOO not right for the part). I'd like the new Bond to be Clive Owen....I think he could be the right mixture of debonair and swash-buckling that the role requires.

I think Clive would make a great successor to the Bond legend. Ever see his role as the driver in the BMW ads? Check out the BMW website if you haven't. Excellent series of short movies with other big name actors and directors and he does have a sense of humor in Star. You can order a DVD of the shorts for the cost of shipping. Good stuff.

Can't believe no-one has suggested Dougray Scott! He's got a great mix of the dangerous, humourous and just about sexy enough. Very Connery and Fleming! Unfortunately Clive Owen has been in the running each time the question is raised simply because he wore a DJ for most of the film Croupier; I'm afraid that since having his teeth done recently, for me he's even less appropriate! Jude Law et al are all just too pretty too in my opinion!
