New Bond

Ok...so who do you want to be the next James Bond?? Who do you NOT want it to be?? Please god don't let it be Jude (artificial) Law or Ewan (forever Rents) McGregor (SOOO not right for the part). I'd like the new Bond to be Clive Owen....I think he could be the right mixture of debonair and swash-buckling that the role requires.

I'm not sure about Clive Owen as Bond. He's certainly got the look, but I'm not sure he could carry off the humour needed. Also I find his accent slightly annoying, which I realise is not his fault! The last James Bond film was so CGI-ed it might as well have been a cartoon so I say Bender for Bond!

Eddy Izzard would be a scream, Clive Owen would be quite sexy and in a few years when he looks a little bit wrinkly, Gary Lucy.

I'm really going to have to watch something with Clive owen in, because whenever I've seen him whilst channel-hopping, or in trailers (Croupier & King Arthur), his delivery has been appalling. Still, better Clive than that Bloom boy!

Not sure - they would have to have the mix of confidence , style and ruthlessness. Of the people said to be in for it Hugh Jackman is the closest but still not quite right. Clive Owen would be OK but not my choice. Ewan McGregor would just be wrong! As for Robbie Williams , it would only work if the villain was Gary Barlow!

Personally I don't think anyone out there at the moment is up to it. Pierce Brosnan was 'born to be Bond', he had the right sense of fun for the part.

It definately has to be Ewan Bremner, The Bond series has been too stuffy for too long, time to add a wee bit of humour.
