That said, I'm fed up of everything taking so long on this site, it keeps cutting off my internet connection, grrrrr... and then there's all the other stuff going on out there. I'm toddling towards 10,000 answers & I can't help feeling that it might be the finishing line for me. They'll probably launch AB2 & set us all back to zero...and I'll be here another 6 years, haha. We shall see.
Looks like being a lovely day...wish the bloomin bush trimmer would come & get cracking, he's well overdue....grrrr, why can't they say what they mean & mean what they say!

Phew ..it's boiling here .My garden thermometer says 32C .
We had to go into into Yarmouth earlier .Sheesh ,I wish we hadn't bothered .The place is heaving with grockles .Still I did have some chips and cockles .Two sovs for a tub of cockles . I nearly fell off me perch ! But they were lovely .
My feet are killing me .Never mind ..rain tomorrow ,which we can do with .There's been no rain here to speak of for nearly three weeks
The flag's very nice Vinny ..is that you to the left between those seagulls ?
My gardener seems to have vanished too Robinia and my bushes are in a dreadful state .
Picky is around tomorrow as he has some holiday so I'll rope him in to do some gardening if he's not fiddling around around with his car,or going to look at a car ,or cleaning a car or stripping the engine on another bldy car which we have had stuck on the drive for yonks going rusty :)) .

It's not as warm as that here shaney...the sun is hot if you're sitting in it...which I don't...but it's very windy, far too windy to read my Bunty, flapping about all over the place.

Hiya possums, just a guest/test appearance... Thanks for all your greetings and gentle hugs - any other kind and you would have had to put the pieces of me back together - and thanks Robi for keeping in touch with my sis. I'll spare you the most gruesome details, I'll just say I screamed like a pig to the slaughter and it took me 1,5 h just to get out of bed the first time I tried after it happened. Whatever it was that happened. One of my old herniated discs slip-sliding around, or lumbago, or both(?) I was afraid the neighbours would call the police because of my screaming and they'd come and break the door down (I couldn't reach the phone so couldn't have averted it) but apparently the neighbours didn't mind me getting slain. Doesn't take me 1,5 h anymore but honestly I've seen better days... but ♫ ♪ what's the use in giving up ♫ ♪ ♪ I think I will be better again, it's already better than.. well... than pig-to-the-slaughter-phase.

Been reading a brilliant book while bedridden, this one; I think it's for teenagers really but I liked it a lot.

hello biddettes, special hi to Kit glad you are on the mend. I am shattered, how on earth you lot live here with all this shopping I do not know. I cannot open any links as have used up my fair policy (?) and have to pay more but can still get on FB, and here. Went to T-mobile to top up the braodband but it was "off" and they wanted to sell me a scratchcard for when it came back, but I don't do things like that cos i always mistype the number and then I'm lost, will try again tomorrow.

This odd peg syndrome is getting good, have done it again today, not only with odd colours but also with odd pegs. Hope it continues oncer back home.
