I know it's only fictitious, but the script writers are just so ignorant of how schools are run, what you can and can't do, LEA'S, etc. The whole thing is getting to me now!!! I watch it and am driving Mr LL nutty complaining about all the mistakes whilst I am supposedly enjoying watching it.
I used to quite like it. It is totally ridiculous now!

well, I took jno jnr on a voyage of discovery to Ikea tonight, looking (in vain) for some shelving that would suit his flat and in the end I asked him if he wanted to be dropped back at the flat and he said 'No, I'll come round to yours.'

Woohoo barab- ...que? An exclamation of delight, I take it - you heartless biddy you jno. You could take him to IKEA's *used* furniture stores as well - or maybe those haven't opened in the UK yet. Come to think of it I don't think they've opened even here yet, but they will. Oh, have any of you visited Clas Ohlson's yet? They're expanding. I am getting used to Ikea now.....NEVER go on a Sunday, browse the website first an make a list of options in the shopping list, check location and availability, check out the market level for impulses (orchids, lamps, cookware etcet., leave DH in car and find a nice young man to load trolley, buy a big bag of daim sweeties in the way out. Job done.

Sorry I can't help with any new places on here. I've only put about 40 questions on in 5 years and when I've tried too get back into them I can't.
What a compliment Woofy to be told you sound like a french person when you speak french. You must be good. I really wish I could speak it fluently. Writin it's a pain on here because you have to put codes in for the accents so I sit with my notebook at my side to look them up . I don't know which accent is the grave or the acute (can't remember) but one of them you can get by holding the alt gr key and then pressing the vowel i.e.áéíóú but the other accent you have to hold the alt key and put in a 4 digit number.- very long-winded. alt + 0224 brings up à The same with the circumflex and çedilla. Just read that sorry if I'm boring you.
My hair has now been cut shorter (obviously) but a bit shorter than I would normally have it and my fringe is thicker than before because I didn't like the whispy one I had . So we'll see how long I keep it like this.
You're probably asleep now Neti after your early trip out. You must be a lovely mum doing all the taxi-ing. I didn't do much of that. Boys don't want their Mum taking them here and there do they.
I did once take one of my sons out to Castle Donington race track to the motor bike racing one weekend and it took me about 2 hours to do a half hour round trip. Traffic!
Off to do a bit of shopping and then going to clean my car for only the 2nd time this year.I'm even going to clean the inside as well (she says :~) could change my mind)
