Further to my last thread, I have heard today that she has LEFT the jungle ! Thank goodness we don't have to look at her plastic face and body any more and listen to that grating foul mouth. Let's all pray she's not on all the talk shows on TV as soon as she gets back .. take the hint dear, we have had enough. If you want 'closure' and 'peace and quiet' take a holiday in Outer Mongolia.

If we all bury our heads, the Italian Prosecutors would happily put 2 people away for life, despite admitting that a number of crucial bits of evidence were invented.

Yes ... the Police INVENTED evidence in order to bring the Prosecution.

Do we let them get on with it.

Or do we say, No ... in a modern, civilised society, Police should not INVENT evidence.

We can't say ... "Okay, guys ... you get on with it"

We have to say ... "We are keeping an eye on you lot"

how is leaving the jury to make a decision with the evidence presented ..burying our heads? how do you know all the allegations against the police are true? that was all reported in the media as well, you cant have it both ways.

without sitting in the courtroom you have no idea, like the papers you are speculating, if they said really nice things about knoxy, would you then believe the media in the same way as you do when they are saying bad things about the police?

Remember the big clean up? Amanda bought loads of cleaning fluids to try to cover her tracks. The Police have all the receipts for bleach, etc. and a witness who sold the cleaning fluids to Amanda?

Well, the Prosecutor later admitted that it had NEVER HAPPENED.

There were no receipts.

There was no witness.

Amanda had never bought any cleaning fluids.

The Police, quite simply, MADE IT UP !

Lied.

Fabricated the evidence!

And then they have the nerve to claim that Amanda's statement was unreliable.

Would you want to live in a State where Police just invent evidence?

Just supposing, in a Trial in the UK for possession of drugs, the Police ADMITTED that they had planted the drugs, and that the Defendant had never had any drugs.

Would we say ... ah, well, let's just leave it to the Jury?

Or would we say ... this is a disgrace.

What if it was someone whom you knew?

Would you still leave it to the Jury? Or would your friend expect you to stand up and shout loudly, and say that it was simply not good enough ?

I think most people , me included are puzzled about your dog with a bone attitude to this particular case and your 'what a wonderful remarkable brilliant great fantastic woman' attitude towards Jordan.

if you had an interest in court cases and injustices in general i would understand it more.

Why do you think that I don't have an interest in injustices ?

Some injustices arise through unfortunate circumstances ... illness, disease, human cruelty, natural disasters. One is powerless to do much about these. But I do make reasonable regular donations, so that other people can fight those fights.

The problem with the Knox trial is that, one day, any of us could find ourselves framed by a corrupt Police force. If it happened to any of us, I would like to think that the whole world would be out there, screaming its indignation.

As a sidenote, I trained as a media lawyer before doing what I do now ... which is working as a media agent.

I don't like to see people being picked on, or bullied.

I feel the need to speak up in their defence.

That includes Katie, and Amanda Knox.

And ... to put my cards completely on the table ... I have made a contribution to to Amanda's defence fund, so I hope that that's money well spent.

Guys ...

I do love to cross swords over Knoxy's case, but I have to go out for a bit.
