You'll have to come and stay Jude .Three square and the bed settee.
You can bring Robinia with you .I'm sure I'll be able to squeeze you both in somewhere. But no coming in late ..us seaside landladies lock up at ten sharp no men in the rooms, and bring yer own towels :))
Good luck for tomorrow Woofy .
Oighty Oight sleep toight .
Morning all

Love the paintings shaney and I love the real photo with the crashing waves even more.

Hope the guts are easing up woofy.

Out again tonight and then that is my social life over and done with for at least another year :0(

More bites on body every morning, but don't hear the beggers, will get a mossie repellant machine on Sat.
Good morning all, its a morning of miracles. We are up ready, the house is immaculate and I have even pulled out a tin of biscuits. Tum has settled nicely thank you.
It was totally persisting down here at 4 am so we stayed in bed. Today i will tae the boys out with me while the attic is being stripped which will be easier all round as my godson doesn't like dogs and my dogs don't like strange noses coming from the attic. I will have a costas sarnie in the car and the boys will have their ginger biscuits which are a great favourite.
Neti can you get that avon body moisturising spray? I know it smells a bit strange but is a good repellant. I have been using eumovate on bites this year. Even using repellant, i get some when i sort out the fish pond. the Eumovate works well if you get it on immediately.
longest day and still two blankets on the bed, who can I complain to? Neti, probably.
Morning all, back to grey skies and rain. I suppose I ought to do a bit of indoor clutter clearing too...but I might find myself being strangely drawn to the puta.
Good luck with yours woofy...have you got any spare cash in the attic? Nothing in mine anymore, I wouldn't go up there.

shaney when I win big I'm going to buy a biddy bolt hole on every coast...no wait, not Scotland, I've never fancied it.

hmmm, so who is Jude trying to convince she hasn't been on the 'Naileys'? :)

Raining here and dull. What a change from yesterday .Everythings on the blink .
My internet keeps cutting out ..grrr...and I've been dashing in and out .Are we passing this upset tum round the country ?
I think I overdid the salad and veggie stuff. We had kohlrabi yesterday. At this rate I'll soon be living on hard boiled eggs , cheese and Buscopan .
Hope you are all reasonably Ok though .
I suppose I could do some domestic engineering but I'm not in the mood !
oh dear not you too shaney?...good job we're not in the ole grotto with only one outdoor lav bucket and dock leaf wipes between us. Hope you feel better soon...you can follow me round the internet shopping circuit, I'm just about to do John lewis' clearance sale :)
well we are back and my attic is now in my spare room. Lovely boys, I had to force money on them. Anyway the first thing I found was a James Bond Matchbox Roller still sealed in the packet so there's my fortune made....not!
Two blankets jno? I had the windows wide open and only a sheet last night. I dont mind this grey cool weather, it reminds me of the seaside and being on holiday. My dad used to say "seaside rain never wets you" and we'd just go out whatever the weather.
our bedroom windows are about 6ft back off the street so they only get opened in the direst of heatwaves (which this is not exactly) and then only a few inches. But at this time of year I would normally expect to have one blanket or none.

Perhaps I am just getting chillier with age. My feet definitely are.
Oh it is so hot here, hate, too hot to even go and get the dry (very dry) washing in from the line. Apparently we are onloy going for a couple of drinkies tonight as Mr N cannot handle late night boozing and then early morning start at manual labour (wimp!) Have my new zte skate phone and was trying to pass it off as my Black English one, except that this is in white only! I wonder if he will notice. I have in fact switched the backs so can say I have a new front for it in white!!

Zumba was fine, I didn't forget much and was out zumbaing the younger members, hip is aching now though!
I have started sorting, nothing exciting yet. We had chicken and chips for dinner and the boys are now snoozling. I have a papercut on my right index finger and its making typing stupidly hard.
okay, you drivers, here's a how-not-to-do-it story a friend's just alerted me to (I know it's a couple of years old so apologies if you've seen it before)

just speechless.......
oight oight all
Morning all, just rushing in to say hello, we ate snails (amongst other things) last night, lvoely, haven't had them for years. Busy with friends here, but they leave today so I'll be back to normal next week. Have to do everything in the early morning as it get too hot even to get the washing in after midday, my washing has been out for 2 days. Off I jolly well trot to do my duties.

Hope you are all OK xx
cold

wet

brr

grr
grrrr...keep losing my internet

Morning all
Unbelievable jno, what a stupid thing to do. She should do as I do and call a cab, there's more room in the back of the big ones.

neti, shuttup about eating snls, some of us in here have dodgy tums ya know.

Cold, wet, windy here too. I'm beyond screaming.
good morning all, windy here but not too cold and dogs had a good walk. Todays task should i choose to accept it is to clear the landing of tall the stuff I decided to get rid of (stick it in garage for junk or donate sorting) and go and buy a clematis.
council man is due here at 11 to tell me we can prune our trees. We have to have his permission. I might also mention the ever-spreading fir next door which is well over our garden now, though I think his remit only covers heritage trees like ours.
I'm not accepting any tasks which don't involve a lot of sitting down, I feel like I'm being pressed into the ground. I think someone's draped an invisible wildebeest round my shoulders.

I hope you've checked it for nests jno...

some of ours have preservation orders on them too....I guess it keeps council staff in employment. Actually our tree man is very nice and pragmatic about such things.
Robi I am sorry to hear you are still feeling unwell. I googled wilderbeast scarer and this came up...enjoy
