Mm Mm Mm..those greggs ssge rls are lovely . Mmmm....stodge glorious stodge ...hahaa
We are all having a stodge day. the walnut cheese rolls came out wonderful and I made herman ckes with dried cherries and plain chocolate chips in. Then my sourdough starter overflowed so i froze some and put a sourdough toasting loaf in the breadmaker.
I have nothing as exciting as silver and linen...I can see why you cant get rid of that, i have s small stash of nice dining stuff which is rarely used now but i just like having it.
My sister is dreadful for cardboard boxes and bubble wrap...she cannot realise how much i have amassed and tells me I shouldn't get rid of any.
Anyway I have just bought a set of clear plastic boxes with clip on lids small enough for me to get in and out of the attic myself and clear so i can see what's in them.
M and S have got new colours of jeggings in...am watching like a hawk for my size. Robi, you sound a bit better.

I'll have to take a picture of the Rembrandt one of these days to show you It's called "The Rembrandt " because it's so huge and a bit of a family joke. Mr S and his brother bought it for my in laws for their silver wedding many years ago.
It's an alpine scene done in oils by a local artist in the town Mr S hails from His old art teacher actually .
It's nice but not my thing at all .It looked lovely on my MiL's wall . Beautiful frame ,but leaning along the wall of the spare room now covered by a sheet We have nowhere to put it .
I think I could quite easily become one of those hoarders they make tele programmes about.
Oh have you got a Rembrandt shaney? I've got a Joshua Reynolds, original of course :o)

I don't know how I feel woofy...past caring I think.:)
I am up and running - well that is not exactly true. My computer is now up and running and I am up but not running very well at all. I am armed with antibiotics, nose drops and an inhaler and nothing seems to be working. I have had a quick catch up and will see you later.
I just couldn't put it in the charity bag so it's now leaning in the corner with the Lowry, a Chinese silk emroidered picture and a mirror made in 1932.
oh hi Lottie...welcome back to the sick bay!
Question Author

Hi Lottie nice to see you back. We is orff to bed.
Question Author
We is orf too ..Oight Oight .
Shaney, never give the elderly presents that you don't like yourself. They will come back to haunt you.
I have realised the antibiotics haven't worked and my gum is starting to hurt again, so I have taken some painkillers and am waiting till they take effect before I go to bed.

Just in case anyone wonders what I am doing up at this unearthly hour.
Good morning, well my friends have now left so should have more time on here. Hija is in Barca since yesterday afternoon and coming back at 00.30 today/tomorrow, partying the whole time, so she will a) lose her passport or b) lose the flight back!

Mr N is miserable again, drives me mad with his silences!! I am waiting for him to clean/paint and fill the pool, but can't say anything as he is up and gone at 7am and home at 7pm, really working hard on the other side of the island, this is his one day of peace!! grrrr ! and it is so damned hot here, daren't lay outside without being able to dunk my sizzling body in the cool pool!!

Not much doing here today.

Glad lottie is up and about and poor jno with the teeth! Hope you are OK Robi and shaney.

My friend's husband now has a tap on his willy (I think you have mentioned this before shaney) Well he forgot to turn it off the other night and their bed was flooded, she's finding it hard to cope and she also works for their daughter at 7am everyday cooking and washing up in a tiny hot kitchen, and she is 71!!

I must count my blessings!!
Morning all..cold and damp after a night of rain.
Ordering pain relief and sunshine for all...'cept neti, she can have our rain.
Good morning all. We got up at 4 am this morning to go out, the dogs looked at the appalling weather and went "hell no" so I gave them breakfast and we all went back to bed. They have had a share of my breakfast (home made roll and cake) and are now asleep again...so much for HPR's being high energy dogs who must be taken for long walks every day.

Quiet day today. My right hand is a bit puffy, it does that if I do too much hard gripping. Anyway it needs a days rest from box carrying so we will do nice stuff today.
Dear Puffy Woofy, get well soon!
puffy woofy ha ha Its blooming inconvenient, I cant get my rings on.
Good morning!!! We have had thunder storms, driving rain and wind and now some blue sky. This summer is diabological. Hope all those sickly and puffy biddies are on the mend. I am still spraying inhaling and taking the tablets to no avail!!!

Must do some ironing!! :o(

See you later.
"diabological" !!!!!!!
