the electric lift pump went on my vectra so i replaced it and now i cant get the fuel from the tank to the lift pump

some things worth looking at

a) when you replaced the lift pump, you didnt get a proper seal, therefore it will be sucking air, also some lift pumps need priming first.

b) sometimes there is a fuel pump down by the tank, if this is not working it will stop fuel getting to the lift pump
