My wife has had a Daewoo Matiz for 7 years from new and it has been very reliable. (someone else mentioned Chevrolet Spark earlier - from same stable). The Matiz also has skinny wheels (cheap tyres too)and I kid you not it waqs superb in the snow last year. My Octavia Estate with big wide wheels and traction control was nowhere near as good in thesnow!)
