pretty sure that's a cam belt.

ok fair enough I was going by the fact that they sell a cambelt kit:

Apparently the 1.1 has a cambelt, all others a chain.

Well I never knew that. It's been a damn good motor if I'm honest and when I trade it in, it will be for another Hyundai.

I agree with you, LadyCG, Hyundais are great cars for build quality and reliability. Best I've ever had.
