I found out main dealer for making a duplicate copy of a car key cost over �100.

Does anyone know any high street keycutting service makes duplicate car keys?

Thanks for the reply. The car is a Suzuki Jimmy. I just need a replacement key just incase the main one gets lost.

The actual cost is �103.5 for a normal key and �207 for a remote key.
I got my Corsa key cut & chipped by a mobile auto locksmith for half the price Vauxhall demanded. Google for one.

This depends entirely on each car model. An ex of mine lost the keys to his Toyota Celica, and it was going to cost hundreds because the key has a chip in it which needs programmed to the cars ECU.....whereas other keys can be as simple as getting them cut at a high street keycutter.
