Freezing Saturday afternoon so we are warm watching Banned Songs by the BBC that were on BBC 4
I always thought Lola by the KINKS was about a prostitute , it was about a transvestite although it was banned for that, it was because it originally contained the words Coca Cola ??
It's really worth a watch , the BBC 'banned' all the Death Songs like Tell Laura I love her and Johnny Remember Me
I want your Sex by George Michael

I seem to remember School's Out by Alice Cooper being banned because it was subversive. Not sure if I've got that right but I remember a bit of a scandal at the time.
