Revoke Article 50 Petition
I trust that most here are aware of the petition. A chance for remainers to show that there is a lot of support for their position. Have you voted yet?

I think I will take up a new hobby - watch the numbers on the electric meter change ;-)

And just to add, the reason for this "catastrophe" is that those negotiating our departure did so on the basis that it was a problem to be overcome, not an opportunity to be grasped. With that in mind it was clear that anything that resembled an alternative form of membership (which, essentially, the "deal" is) would be eagerly devised by the EU and readily accepted by the Reaminer Primer Minister.
Well, then they have a job to try and implement it, but at some point intentions have to confront reality. There are, again, two current paths we can take for Brexit, one of which is clearly unacceptable even to Brexit supporters and the other of which isn't even a destination anyway, let alone the economic damage. If there is a third way that avoids, or mitigates, either of these two fates, then by all means let us pursue it. But a combination of hastiness, incompetence and political reality has so far ruined the chances of that.

Suggesting the "worst excesses" (~9%) drops us back to the economy we had approximately 3 to 4 years ago; otherwise 2% to 3% suggests a year ago. Unsure the nation was that desperate for more wealth in 2015, or even earlier for that matter. Private banks putting money into foolish US property schemes, triggering a Tory period of austerity, has probably caused worse. Sure, things change, but not that much. And merchants and politicians have a great incentive to get us back soonest. As described, it's a hit we can take in our stride to regain the control that, as a nation, we've foolishly bartered away.

"I am sure that many Remainers see Brexit as a disaster to be mitigated, but I don't think I'd count Theresa May among them."
One of her own close advisors quoted her as being of that opinion just last week. More than that, she saw the result of the Brexit vote to be an ideal opportunity to secure the top job - which she would probably have had little chance of had the vote gone the other way.

Actually it is slowing down, current rate is about 100/minute less than it was last night.
A petition that hits around 5 million or so is still mighty impressive considering the usual take-up of petitions.
Aye, that's mightly impressive putting your name on a petition on t'internet....cool.
Try going on strike for a year to support your co-workers in a strike you think is the wrong move...then come back with your
'mighty impressive' bull crap.
'We're not against democracy'' my ***! zzzzzzzzzzzz
