What will happen to the Anti Capitalism protesters when it comes to the Armistice Day Parade on November 13th?
They say they will stay till Christmas. I wonder if the parade can go ahead now?
Should they be "forced out" now?
if so, how could this be be enforced,
The Bankers don't give a stuff that these people are protesting !, and what have they achieved by it?

If St Pauls were that bothered, they could have called the police immediately and then applied to the Court for an eviction order. Instead they have taken this rather curious step of letting them remain and closing their doors.
I support their right to protest and although I think the protest is pointless, it doesn't mean they have any less of a right. If demonstrations and protests were allowed to continue or were stopped on the grounds that someone somewhere thinks the cause is pointless, we are heading down the slippery slope to removing freedom of speech and imposing censorship.
St Pauls can take legal action and it won't cost an arm and a leg either. They have chosen to take a different route, for what reason I know not.

Ed from the bbc
>> "Over the past 48 hours, we have completely reorganised the camp in response to feedback from the fire brigade and we have also accepted the presence of two large barriers to preserve access to the side door of the Cathedral.
"This afternoon we have been told, in a telephone call, by the fire brigade, that they have not issued any new requirements above and beyond those already communicated directly to the camp. Therefore, there are no outstanding fire safety issues." <<

Right.
So the Dean chose to close the doors for the reasons as supplied by Trim.
It seems the Fire officers are happy now that they have mitigated the risk of fire.....but the Dean is not.
So that you don't have to repeat yourself bobbi could you just point me to where you <<< have tried hard to get my pov ED >>>.
Thanks.

ummmm....yes....I could....but the question was on £20 a week was there any need for a child to go to school on an empty stomach?
Mrs sqad says that she could as she buys raw materials and cooks.........this is not often done now.
I find difficulty in believing that a child has to go to school without breakfast on £20 a week.

ok so i have read the pages and pages of drivel, with the usual dancing around.
can those who claim the protest is pointless because you don't understand what they are protesting about/is pointless, and therefore insist they should be forced to get lost.....
please explain why peaceful protestors should be forced to move, because you don't understand their message ?

Smug? No, bobbi.
A little disappointed? Certainly. I thought that as you set up this thread you would, at least, reveal your 'POV' but it seems that despite our best efforts you decline to explain quite why you feel that they should move on.
Still, I'm sure that the intellectual stretching exercises will have done some good...
