If you follow matters EU you will know that they applied to join ten years ago and that negotiations have been going on since 2005.

Among those next to join the trough are Bosnia, Serbia, Albania, Montenegro, Macedonia, Iceland amd Kosovo (not even recognised as an independent nation by all current EU nations).

Sandy Roe is perfectly right. Croatia is a playground for German tourists, and lots of people have holiday homes there. German is widely spoken there. If they go anywhere it will be to Germany not the UK since they have no desire to claim benefits just have the chance of a better life for themselves and are perfectly willing to work for it.

no they are not. from the small amount of Polish that were expected when Labour were in power, the figures that have been forwarded were half a million, to find work, settle down, if some are going home it's a drop in the ocean.
