Sorry - the 'pro minority agenda' bit.
And I suggest you re-read your list and ask yourself if every single one of those started abroad.
Nonsense.
But let's just say this - you believe one thing. I think your belief is nonsense, and you think my point of view is nonsense. I doubt either of us have much of a chance of influencing the other so....

Sp, The illegality of these practices is not an issue and not anything that I mentioned. You do like avoiding the issue don't you? I suppose you are going to blame the formation of gangs in the afro-carribean community on the rest of society rather than the gang culture of the West Indies from whence it came.
Zeuhl and sp, None of the practices on my list have been part of mainstream British culture (illegal or not)and were so rare as to be virtually non-existent. The increase in these practices along with the ethnic minorities within which they occur supports my assertion. Do you have an alternative explantion? probably not.
/None of the practices on my list have been part of mainstream British culture/
And they're not part of any 'mainstream culture' now
There is no evidence that UK Gang Rape, Infanticide, Assaults with corrosive chemicals, forced marriages have gone up with any statistical significance in the past 100 years
If there are any offences directly correlated with immigrant sommunities, they tend to affect only those in those communities
So jomifl, you can relax
the chances of you being attacked in the street and FGM-ed are quite remote

It seems your optimism is outrunning your comprehension
/And they're not part of any 'mainstream culture' now?
Can you please explain which mainstream 'immigrant communities' incorporate gang rape, acid attacks etc into their 'culture'?
Any more than say, indigenous British communities incorporate child abuse in our culture?

/Zeuhl, you do have problems with comprehension don't you. /
jomifl
you do have problems with communicating your ideas it seems
you can only blame other ABers so many times for not comprehending you; not reading you properly; or not having a dictionary to hand
before you have to consider that it's perhaps your fault that no one appreciates or responds positively to what you're going on about
