I mean really this does demonstrate level of stupidity and contempt that we really should have a more severe punishment for.

Yes, and luckily the court agrees with me:-

Plus no-one died or got injured, so a good result all round.

Chewn....if your are unaware of the difference, when driving, of nosing.. and of being aware and using your peripheral vision then I would question your safety on the road also.

Boxy...I can't believe that....are you sure that you are not...even subconsciously.... aware of the person driving a car?

I can think of umpteen times I have been on my guard through the behaviour or expression of someone driving cluelessly.

I'm amazed that there are so many people driving with such little awareness.
