Another fresh month and the scoreboards are wiped in preparation for the two Links games to be played out here in Q&P each weekend.
First will be the KM Game, overseen by Seekeez. It runs from some time early on Saturday to midnight Sunday. That version is based on The Daily Telegraph GK Crosswords and you have to guess what Saturday's shaded clues are going to be paired with in Monday's 'Herculis' crossword. Equal chance of points all weekend. Game closes midnight Sunday. Results posted by seekeerz early Monday morning.
Seekeerz will post the 4 clues (and answers) in Q&P soon after they become available on the Telegraph website.
The MM version of the game is being set this month by myself as a farewell gesture. No bamboozling, no cryptic puzzles, just a straight forward introductory biography at 8:45am followed by the challenge words at 9:00. Unusually though, the introduction will be illustrated with photographs, but since AB doesn't allow pictures in threads, you will be requested to follow a link. The images in no way influence the link-words so view at leisure after you have played.
The shrubbery is now open for socialising but I am off to put another coat of paint on the livingroom.
I'll see you all tomorrow morning.
Be sure you're there.
Until then,
Happy Linking,
gen2
Very sadly I have to report that Mrs Rocky will no longer be able to participate in the MM and KM games. She passed away very suddenly
last Monday night. We spent Monday as usual cycling around the South Coast with friends and she seemed as fit as ever but by midnight she was gone. She was greatly loved by many many people especially me, and I hope to see you all tomorrow morning

Be strong. I hope you have lots of local support.
Oh, Rockfordill, I cannot begin to comprehend what shock and sadness you are experiencing.
My heart beats and bleeds for you.
May your family and friends support you at this sad time.
With best wishes and condolences,
Strix.
