ter months of delays and countless witness testimonies, the final judgment will be laid down on Sept. 11.

Thanks jomlet...I hadn't seen anything in the media for quite a while. 9/11...what a day for the verdict !
I'm very curious as to what the verdict will be .
The judge's robes are red
Tilly Masipa is glorious
His fate is in her hands
So awaits Oscar Pistorius.
Jomlett thanks for posting that link, the 2nd one, very interesting. I had been wondering about her background. I haven't a clue which way the verdict will go but as the writer of the article says, there will be a lot of people on both sides who won't agree with it, whatever it is.
Never mind about Pistorius. What's happened to that creep Julian Assange? Three weeks ago he announced to the world that he was going to leave the Ecuadorian embassy "soon". How soon is soon?

(Apologies for hi-jacking your question, Mikey, but there is a vague connection in that both matters concern non-entities who are of no real concern to people in the UK, but we're fascinated nonetheless).
Assange created a media storm last month after leaking certain "health problems" to the Australian press that backfired. He then said he hoped "over the coming weeks" to set up a meeting with the British foreign secretary. No chance!

No apologies required NJ ! But at least AP was a well-known and respected disabled sportsman before he decided to kill his girlfriend ! I too find Assange rather tiresome.
"respected" is debatable mikey. Many thought him arrogant. Incidents of his arrogance were shown more than once during his trial, in videos and evidence from people who knew him.

I don't like him either ladybirder but I don't recall any disrespect to him in 2012 when he was competing in the Olympics, and it was that activity I was referring to. I am not a fan though and hope that he is found guilty.
Yes his veneer slipped over this incident if you remember, he was most ungracious.

There is no doubt whatsoever that he killed his girlfriend, as he has already admitted that ! Whether he did it on purpose or by accident is what the Judge has to decide. Personally I think his chances of being found not-guilty are almost non-existent.
I've got no sympathy for him whatsoever, he seems like a particularly nasty piece of work - I hope they lock him up and throw away the key!
Not long to wait now ...
