These nasty nazi fascist UAF wasters usually start the trouble so no surprise about the arrest other than surprised to see the media actually say it.

This is all turning out to be an andy-hughes v anotheoldgit thread, so I won't be readdress you any further on this subject except to address these matters.
/// I for one deeply dislike and distrust the EDL, but I am in no way in favour of any Muslim extremism, so that dismisses your rather broad-brushed argument immediately. ///
Just because you personally dislike and distrust the EDL for reasons that you have been careful not to tell us, is surely just being selfish.
All right there are many who do not like certain groups all for their various personal reasons, and most are the same as you, they can't come up with any particular reason.
Right the EDL may have some amongst them who are beer swilling yobs, and that is just like the media wishes us to see them, but as yet I don't think that we have seen them committing any suicide bombings, beheadings, throwing homosexuals off high buildings or taking part in child grooming gangs.
On the other hand there are many followers of Islam who do do such things, so if anyone is prepared to demonstrate against the rise of Islam in this country, then I would personally rather speak up for them, no matter what they themselves just look like.
/// Because you are not in favour of Islamic extremism, does that make you a fundamentalist Christian, keen to exterminate all other faiths by any means necessary? I would guess not - although your logic would certainly infer
that. ///
There you go again with your vivid imagination of what my logic infers, where have I inferred that I wish to exterminate all other faiths, when I just don't want to see a further rise of Islam into this country, which apparently you see no problem with.
I do hope that your grand-children and any future great-grandchildren will in the future thank you, for your laid back approach on this matter?

AOG - "Just because you personally dislike and distrust the EDL for reasons that you have been careful not to tell us, is surely just being selfish."
I have lost count of the number of times I have written about my dislike and mistrust of the EDL on this site, but since everyone else appears to have read my opinions except you (sound familiar?) I am happy to repeat them.
In my view, we are lucky to have been born in this country, but that is all it is - luck, an accident of birth, nothing more.
For a section of the population to take it upon themselves to decide that England is 'their' country, and they must 'defend it' is colossally arrogant and bull-headed - as evidenced by the usual behaviour of the members of this abhorrant band.
It is full of brutish dull-witted people who have too much time on their hands, and an over-developed sense of self-importance.
I don't see a problem with the 'rise of Islam' because I don't believe it exists, except in the minds of over-heated headline writers who know how to push the buttons of their readers.
If - and it is a big 'if' - I ever feel the need for the country I live in to be defended from anyone for any reason, I will look to the elected government of the day to carry out due legal process, and it will be a cold day in hell before I would trust my future to a bunch of ignorant racist yobs who treat democratic process as though it is a chance to shout their vile vitriol at all and sundry.
I realise that you will disagree with each and every point I have made, but you have decided not to continue to address me any further on the subject, so your views must remain unspoken.
Oh well ....

I know I said that I would not readdress you any further, simply because this is turning into just a slanging match between ourselves and knowing your moderator type thoughts on such matters, I am more than surprised that you persist in carry things on in this way, however reading this latest post of yours I can not let such things go unchallenged

England is my country, just as it was during WW2, and to think that it is being colossally arrogant and bull-headed to defend it, is grossly offensive to all those brave Englishmen and women (English being used here, simply because that is the country in question) who were prepared to give up their lives in it's defence.
We must be extremely grateful that to my knowledge there wasn't any around with the same thoughts as yourself (not outside the Tower of London that is) or we would have just held our hands aloft and cowered down to those owners of the jack-boot.
/// I don't see a problem with the 'rise of Islam' because I don't believe it exists, except in the minds of over-heated headline writers who know how to push the buttons of their readers. ///
So you haven't even noticed the increasing amounts of Mosques in this country, they are not bingo hall you know? to say nothing of the increase of terrorists on our streets, or the 7/7 bombings and the murder of Lee Rigby all committed under the name of Islam, Tell me what does it take to push your buttons?

Even you cannot pull a comparison between the threat of a Nazi invasion, and a few lump-headed numpties shouting on a weekend and try and make it my comparison - it was, and is not mine.
I have the utmost respect and appreciation for those who gave up their lives to maintain the freedom of this island of ours when a very real and tangible threat was upon it.
But that is not the same as a media-orchestrated fear campaign that is signed up to by ignorant racists who are invited by no-one except themselves to 'defend' the UK.
By doing what? waving a few banners about and shouting abuse at passers-by?
I don't think so!!

I am going to let your inference that my views are those of a traitor go - on the basis that I accept you may not have meant to refer to my in quite that way.
Unlike you, I accept the limitations of printed communications - it is a fact of life - not just something you can pontificate about, as you have done on other threads - and been challenged over it by me - again.
