Anti Scottish!
Am I the only that has been disappointed by some of the anti Scottish feelings that I have read on here? Not the anti SNP as I was against independence but some of the anti Scottish sentiment and stereotyping that I have read.

As for Wales, having spent a lot of my youth in Snowdonia area I was always aware of anti-English views - even kids used to shout 'English go home' and I was only on holiday.
As a born and bred Scot who voted Yes in the referendum, I did accept the decision of the majority, just as I had to accept the decision of the majority who gave us a Tory/Lib Dem coalition. What riled me was that the promises made before the vote suddenly disappeared after the vote. As for our history, when I was at school we had to learn all the names of the English kings/queens - it was as if Scotland didn't exist.
Actually, I think that Ms Sturgeon is being a bit of a plonker and now doing damage. I can well understand folk south of the border being put off by hearing remarks such as "Picture me and Ed on Friday plotting our future."
It's mostly irrelevant - the battle in Scotland is not about SNP or Labour - at the last election, together they did not have enough seats to unseat Cons/Libs.....it is about what happens to the Liberal seats up there - and also down here SW of Bristol and Southampton, where its traditionally Blue/Yellow, excepting the centre of Plymouth and Exeter and a 3-way punch up over Camborne, the Tories hoping turn the area all blue and push a long way towards the 23 extra seats needed.
