Like something from 1950s USA. In todays inclusive society it was a very strange trick to pull - the bouncers must've know there would be repercussions as this type of behaviour is very newsworthy.

But nightclubs have had the power to refuse entry to groups of males with absolutely no comeback. Had this happen to me several times when out even in a small group of 4 or 5. Is this wildly different from the scenario in the link?

Who are you calling a troll?
Who's a troll?
Cat got your tongue, canary?
This is The Independent after all. Why is //Because they are black// and //seems to say// in parenthesis? the club was full, there are rules to numbers, did they allow any big groups of white males in afterwards do we know?
I have just looked up the phrase Internet Troll, and I found this ::

"An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion"

I post this purely so that we have a definition of the term, thus making it easier to identify them when we see them. it is directed at nobody in particular and certainly not AOG.
yeah - who are you calling a troll ?

People have been banned for less !

[ at my college - pointing at an Asian or Arab and saying 'you are terroreesten' is enough to get you suspended ] - ( it took me years to realise the final -en was tanwin - sorry off thread )
The majority of us know what a troll is. AOG is not one. Personal opinions doesn't make someone a troll.
PP.... you're not making sense.....again!!!!
I put that in just for you Ummm
Thanks. I thought maybe I was getting too much sun!
“Kosi Orah, 19, was celebrating his birthday with friends, when they queued to get into the Nightclub at around 2am on Sunday.”

I trust they were all up bright and early for their lectures on Monday morning.
Or was it Saturday night/Sunday morning?

(I always assume the worst of people) :-)

I assume you've not watched the video where the doorman confirms that the group are not allowed in because they are black?
Yawn.
SP.... a lot of people on here need to watch the video it seems to me !

But perhaps the " I've made up my mind, now don't confuse with the facts" brigade can't see that.
"Had this happen to me several times when out even in a small group of 4 or 5. Is this wildly different from the scenario in the link? "

I was thinking about the same sort of thing snafu, as I thought the clubs & venues would have a dynamic policy on balancing their clientele to suit best business interest.
No I haven't seen the video, but I've read the article upon which this thread is based. So;
Q.1 Why did the Independent say 'Seems to say'.?
Q.2 Were there any black people inside ?
Q.3 Were groups of white youths given access after this incident?
It i s clear from what the doorman said, having too many folk in the club was not the issue since, had they not been black, they would have been admitted.
Maybe the doorman wanted a quiet life. You know, just agree with people to get rid of them.
