A Strange Door Policy In 21St Century Uk

Like something from 1950s USA. In todays inclusive society it was a very strange trick to pull - the bouncers must've know there would be repercussions as this type of behaviour is very newsworthy.
But nightclubs have had the power to refuse entry to groups of males with absolutely no comeback. Had this happen to me several times when out even in a small group of 4 or 5. Is this wildly different from the scenario in the link?

The nightclub has since issued a statement apologising to Mr Orah and his friends, reiterating that they welcome people of all races and ethnicities.
A spokesperson for Ghost Nightclub said: “We sincerely and unreservedly apologise to all those involved, his friends and the citizens of Leicester.
“We feel strongly that the member of security who is suspended acted out of character and as a matter of urgency, all staff will be given refresher training of our policies and performance expectations.
No much doubt is there !

You said to Khandro "If I were you, I'd watch the video, and then form an opinion based on what you see".
Which apparently just what you did, seeing you wasn't there at the time, and of course your opinion couldn't be in the least bit bias could it?
You went to all the trouble of answering all those questions, by just stating "I have no idea" or "I don't know", so nothing definite there then.
Perhaps you have a more definite answer to this question then, since you have failed to address it yet, even after telling people to watch the video?
Didn't the doorman say this in the video?
"if it was my club I would have no problem with it"

i wonder if you would say that if it had been a UKIP statement?
But let's face it the club would say that wouldn't they?
It is much easier losing a ten a penny doorman, to paying out a huge fine plus a bad reputation for the club.

/// So you do accept that someone is guilty of racism, AOG? ///
No I don't, on the scant and mixed evidence, a group of youths who happened to be black were refused entry to the night club for some reason.
Now if there was a total ban on blacks, and no blacks were inside then it would be racist.

You are so right.
I've been black all my life, apart from a short period in 1978 when I became Mexican, due to misreading the instructions on a box of Omo washing powder.
Never once have I ever encountered anything that could be described as 'racism'.
It simply doesn't exist.
Nobody is racist.
Nobody is sexist.
Nobody hates gay people.
Unicorns exist and there's a unicorn farm near Winchester, just off the A312.
