From what I've read, the boy on the beach who died (whose brother and mother also died) were put on the boat by their father, who didn't die. They had all been living in Turkey for about a year, so were already safe
Whether or not the photo was staged there is little doubt or denial that the family lived in Turkey for some time and the father actually had a job.
Only last night on Question Time yet again this incident was mentioned only on the face value that it was originally publicised (i.e. that the family had taken to the sea whilst fleeing for their lives). Once again the audience (selected purely at random, of course) whooped and clapped when it was suggested that "we must act to avoid such humanitarian tragedies recurring". We're all being conned on a massive scale and our stupid politicians are falling for the scams more than anybody.
the migrants/refugees are pretty obviously not all from Syria
even the Beeb - nest of bleeding heart liberals if ever I saw one - now do a country of origin check. There is not an awful lot of arabic spoken in the background ....
staged in what way ?
they took a body with them and chucked it in the water when they spotted ..... cameras ?
Because she's so reviled the assumption is all she says is lies and just to shock but some of the time, like here, she may be right. I find her very entertaining and thought provoking.
