After reading this report, plus what has happened in Paris, have those who believe we should allow the hordes that are coming in from Syria, to wander freely across Europe, had a change of mind?

/// I have given my answer as best as I can AOG ! ///
/// Of course we should end the flow of refugees ! ///
Now that wasn't too hard was it? that was all I asked.
But stop there, what's all this?
/// It was said just after the Paris attacks that similar deaths and casualties occur in Syria on a daily basis. As long as that situation is allows to continue, there will be waves of refugees, just as there always are from a war zone. ///
It has been proven that only a very small percentage of those coming into Europe are true refugees.
Just take the father of the little child plucked from the sea, you know the photograph that softened the hearts of most Europeans.
Well that family had been living safe and sound in Turkey until he decided to try and join family members in Canada.

Sadly our decision to let so many Muslims in over the last few years will come back and haunt us in the future.
I live in the edge of Birmingham and we have so many problems with Muslim schools where teachers try and "brain wash" children, banning talk of Christmas and Divali and pushing Islam down their throat.
A search on "trojan horse schools" will find plenty of articles about this.
We have people here trying to "ban" our democracy and bring in an Islam dictatorship.
We have people trying to introduce Shaira Law, and attempts to create a huge Muslim only cemetery in our area, plans to built a giant Mosque in Dudley and so on.
This "Muslim" problem will grow and grow over the new few years and I can see "civil war" breaking out between Muslims and "the rest" in this country in the future.
Allowing so many Muslims in could turn out to be one of our biggest mistakes EVER.

So, in summary, exactly none of these terror suspects are linked to the recent refugee crisis, and yet those are the people you want to target? Hmm.
This is not to say that every single one of the influx of refugees is an innocent little lamb you have to cuddle and never stop loving no matter how accidentally nasty they become. But I mean seriously, it's misdirected policy in the light of this information to target those people. Better to accept that the majority of refugees are exactly that, but that we cannot let everybody in without at least some level of decent background security check. Our borders shouldn't be closed, but nor should they be uncontrolled and not properly monitored. I think everybody accepts that.

Jim, //that we cannot let everybody in without at least some level of decent background security check.//
But that isn’t happening with the people flooding into Europe. We have no idea who's coming here.
Mikey, //Its easy to go for the easy target.//
True. Islamic terrorists do it on a regular basis.

/// AOG...I have nothing further to add to what I have already said this morning on this subject...sorry to disappoint you ! ///
Don't flatter yourself, I am not disappointed, in fact it was what I expected, the fact that you wouldn't be able to deny certain facts that I put before you.
Only pleased I have at least got you to admit this:
/// Of course we should end the flow of refugees. ///

No, it certainly hasn't been what's happening -- as I noted elsewhere, the EU's response has been fairly pathetic no matter what side of the debate you are on. The problem being that the refugee crisis has exposed that the EU isn't really a union at all, incapable of setting up a coherent external border and closing the internal borders at virtually the first sign of trouble. Pretty awful, really.
Doesn't change my opinion on what should be happening, though -- control of the borders without arbitrary restriction of numbers, while trying to do something about stopping the source of the flow, the current instability in the Middle East. Achieving all of this is of course impossible.
