We don't have a choice as to whether we go to war with ISIS. They've already declared war on us, so we're at war whether we like it or not. The choice we have is whether to retaliate. Personally I say yes, but that won't bring an end to anything.

There will always be people around who want to blow stuff up and kill innocent people, just like there will always be vermin. The most you can ever do is minimise their ability to cause damage.

ludwig has expressed it exactly. They have declared war on us and have attacked us. They will continue to do so unless we stop them. This leaves us no choice, I.M.H.O., but to stop them. This equates to declaring war on them to try to stop them overrunning our civilisation and killing huge numbers of people.

The western aid workers/reporters who were beheaded by IS didn't take a chance and walk into IS central. They believed the nonsense about 'good' rebels and were promptly kidnapped, then sold/traded to IS by the vermin Cameron wants us to crawl into bed with.

Some of the French 'shopped' some 'Cockleshell Heros' to the Germans in WW2 (they were shot as spies)- as well as a lot of others and in Marseilles the police rounded up Jews and put them on the trains to Germany. Svejk: they walked into areas where the rebels had pledged allegiance to IS, like Idlib where Alan Henning was picked up. The rebels in that region are islamists who were originally part of the Free Syrian Army but then defected to IS. It is the Kurds that we are "in bed with" and they are not islamists. They are IS's main local enemy now. On the day of the vote it was in the news about IS suicide bombers in trucks targetting the Kurds.

The US has been secretly arming the so calld good rebels.

In 2013 a fleet of 43 Toyota Hillux pickup trucks were shipped to the rebels. A few weeks later they began to appear in ISIS propagander videos kitted out with US made machine guns.

The CIA are arming the FSA, openly: no secret about it. The problem is that often stuff has been traded on.
However they now have a system where the recently supplied TOW anti-tank missiles are only replaced if the empty casings are returned

Hmm, they had the sense to move their children to live in safety in Syria, but then took them on holiday to a war zone. The Russians have been bombing rebel positions since 30th September, so moving their kids in was not the best parenting decision.

UN Report:
