Being a Muslim isn't it evidence. Lots of non-Muslims are terrorists, and lots of Muslims are not terrorists, so it's very poor logic/science to equate "Muslim" and "terrorist".
Evidence is stuff you might pick up through intelligence, like observing people, infiltrating groups, monitoring communications and web traffic, and so on.

Youngmaf.. I haven't called anybody names on this thread...do get your facts right. I have insulted Donald Trump but only because he is up for insults. He described farmer neighbouring his Scottish golf course development as 'living in a pigsty' because he disagreed with Trump's self serving habitat destruction.
retrocop - //Mosaic
If I had any views to offer they would be on topic and to do with Trump not a TV comedy programme.!! //
But since you don't, you are not really in a position to criticise those who do are you?
In a debate, you put forward your viewpoint, and are prepared to defend it.
If you do not put forward a view, then you are not part of the debate, you are a bystander, and as such have no legitimate criticism of anyone not only putting forward a view, but using evidence to back it up - which was offered by Mosaic.
There is a phrase, something about 'getting off the pot ....'

retrocop - //I like to ensure the veracity of some statements before getting involved in debates. After all any one can make sweeping statements or generalise just to make themselves feel they are an authority. No point in debating with someone who invents or distorts, in other words a B.S. //
That's fine - but while you are ensuring veracity, you can't really be pitching in to criticise people who are going ahead without the need for proof that you appear to require.
If you are in the debate, criticise, if you are observing - observe.
Is that fair?

As this is on News I assumed it was in order to request a link. I have been challenged to do so in the past so I feel I have not infringed any Site Rules by asking you to do so. Have I ?
Universal acknowledgement would appear "worldwide" so I would of thought you could grasp many links to support your statement but none thus far.
Any how must meet the wife for a late lunch.

I understand that providing a link to the OP is appropriate, but not mandatory. TTT has not provided a link, no-one has asked for one. The vast majority of points have been made without links to support them
In my view, it is certainly not necessary for every poster to provide a link to every post in order to back up his or her viewpoint.
We are on a debating section, not in court, so 'evidence' is not always required, or it would seriously slow down the ebb and flow of what is really just an exchange of ideas and opinions.

divebuddy - //The final scene of Blackadder was moving, even if it was a rip off from Butch Cassidy and the SunDance Kid. //
Is that a volte face from your earlier view that it was 'left-wingers' 'distorting' the conflict then?
//the rest of the (final) series was the usual half baked Lions led by Donkeys rubbish. //
I don't think commentators agree that the phrase is either 'half-baked' or 'rubbish' -

Blackadder is satire - it is deigned to poke holes in pomposity and make you think. In my BA4 succeeds on all levels - and it got a Bafta, so I appear not to be the only person who thought so.

I daresay that anyone learning about WWI by watching Blackadder will get a twisted version of the truth. It's meant to be a satirical comedy, after all, so it's bound to take things to extremes and present an oversimplification. In as much as life in the trenches was rather crap, and the military situation in the middle of the war pretty static with a lot of bloodshed for little gain, I think it's fairly accurate. The incompetence or not of the generals is the main bugbear of the right -- I don't think anyone knew how to fight that sort of war, when basically the enemy is as well-armed as you are.
Some funny stuff, though.

Well the man ain't a twerp as he has made a couple of billion dollars, probably more like four or five but lost two or three.
He has a problem as his mouth appears to disengage from his brain at times, such as over his anti-Muslim remarks and his snides at London etc. However, I see it as a wind-up to keep him present in the Press at the expense of the other elephantine candidates.
The interview on ABC? I caught a glimpse of and he had back-tracked a wee bit. However, the Republican party are up in arms with him and the Speaker pf the Senate and Leader in the House have called for him to be dropped as a candidate.....CNN....He may well have gone too far this time.
