sp - //What an incredibly sad story.

I truly hope that we can all focus on using it to have a pop at Muslims in general, because that's most important thing here.

The facts that we know are this - the woman is a follower of Islam, and she allegedly beheaded a young child, burned the family home down, before wandering around the city with the aforementioned child's head in her possession.

These are typical actions from Muslims, as we have seen in the news recently. Because followers of the so-called Islamic State carry out such atrocities, then we should see these actions as 'typical of Islam'.

I'm tired of people like andy-hughes using logic and reason when stories like this arise. //

I must admit, I am finding it quite tiring too!!

LOL!!!

I’m surprised you think that, SP.

andy-hughes has said that after his initial input he subsequently gained 20-20 hindsight.

jackthehat, no, still not with you. I can see a comment aimed at a poster, but nothing detrimental, and nothing unusual in aiming a comment at a poster you’re conversing with so I can’t see what your problem is – and actually, I’m past caring. What a load of nonsense this is. I’ll leave you three to massage one another’s egos. Enjoy. ;o)

Is that your final word on the matter? LoL
No - this is. Now hang on, how does it go? Oh yes. Lol. Good grief!

Andy, I think, shouting "god is great" etc indicates that this woman believes she is doing what Allah would sanction. That seems a clear link to me.
Enjoy. ;o)

I'm sorry, but it's because of people like you that I am no longer allowed to say, "Typical Jew", when I read a story about anyone with the surname Abrams involved in a financial scandal.

When are you liberals going to learn that the only way to read stories like this, is to address a single element and extrapolate it to fit a nicely bigoted agenda?

That's the core of the issue here. We should be allowed to assume character traits based on someone's religion and/or ethnicity to the exclusion of all other factors.

The woman in this story might be a schizophrenic. She may be evil. She may have been high on PCP. We don't know...all we do know is that she is a follower of Islam...and that should be enough.

For goodness sake andy-hughes, why do people like you have to think logically before writing on threads like this?

Why can't you just wade in with comments based on prejudice like the rest of us?

I only hope that someone quickly writes, "You're an apologist, and Muslims will throw you from high rises if they had their way".

That's what we need in a debate such as this.

/// I am making exactly the same points as and and yet no-one has taken me to task nor asked me to explain myself. ///

No you are not you are just sitting on the fence criticising anyone who dares to address your friends points or happens to hold a different opinion.
The woman is clearly very sick and twisted. And a Moslem.

Unfortunately, many of the murders carried out by sick, twisted Moslem terrorists involve beheadings, including beheadings of children.

Therefore it's easy to put 2 and 2 together and assume or imply this case isn't any different to the others. But, in the absence of any evidence, it's impossible to say at this stage.

What does seem to be clear is that she's inspired by terrorist actions which, by some definitions, makes her a terrorist - even if she is a sick and twisted nutter ...

Dear AOG,
Please don't enter a thread just to make pointless criticisms against another ABer. It just makes you look a bit petty and rather chump-like.

LOL...
It's a disgrace that 2 moderators and AN other think this story merits a few Lols. Hope the Editor looks in.

As you often think that all white American cops are all the same when one happens to shoot a black person.

Dear JTH

If you can't face criticisms then don't act in such a way as to attract them. Also please refrain from abusive name calling, you know your friend is against such things.

Regards

AOG.
AOG

your post at 14:52 is certainly interesting.

Is this an impression you've got based on something I've written on AB before?

I've tried searching through for previous posts on 'shooting', and have found four threads, none of which I've contributed to. There must be other searches, but I'm stumped for a key word.

Can you help out, by providing a link so I can check what I wrote.

Hoping this isn't another Svejk situation, where he announced that I claimed that most terrorist attacks in Europe were committed by non-Muslims...something that later turned out to be cobblers.
AOG - I didn't say you were a chump.....just that you are making yourself look like one.

Has anyone found out whether this tragedy was brought about, directly, by this woman following Islam?
It is true to say that so far none of us know what prompted this dreadful crime.

Every single day children die at the hands of those supposed to care for them whether they be parents, other family members or people in a position of trust.

Each one is tragic and has its own causes - badness, madness, drink, drugs or endless other reasons - none of them make the situation any easier to bear because a child is dead.

The authorities now have the task of unravelling why this one happened as they do with all such cases.
I tried reading this thread fully but it is difficult when everybody's opinion of the situation is correct and they have no tolerance for any other version of events.

A child is dead, the parents are no doubt devestated by what happened, the woman does not deny killing the child which does not necessarily mean that she actually did it.

None of us need to know anything else.
We don't need to know if the woman was mentally sane at the time - being insane does not automatically make you a dangerous person. Being sane does not mean that you will act in an acceptable manner and in a logical fashion.

Anyhow I am sure that you will all keep squabbling between yourselves - agree to disagree for as far as I can see you could all be partly correct.

A bit OTT.
