What's better- a pointless suggestion or no suggestion? Actually my suggestions are vote Remain then we have some say in French matters (I assume you agree), support the police, try to understand why people born in Europe feel the need to destroy it, and yes be far more rigorous about stopping boatloads making it over to Europe.
