Forgive me but I must quote AH here from another thread. But if you voted remain, are you quite happy to accept this?
"What concerns me if we remain, is that the EU will know beyond doubt that the UK is a powerless minnow in its wake, which can be ignored or forced to suck the mop, probably both! "

in summary, 'change from within' - much to the chagrin of some around here.

"Jim, no excuses from me. I've never thought 'Out' would succeed. The Bulldog spirit has long departed these lands. " - yep replaced by traitors, our great heroes of the past benefit greatly for not seeing what we have become.
oh what a fantasist you are, hypgnosis....back to your dreaming.
what hyperbole and w.nk, TTT, really.......pathetic.
TTT

No...the trade situation is more complex than that. As a member of the EU, we are in one of the world's largest trading blocs. It means we enjoy the muscle of the EU when agreeing deals with countries outside the EU.

Also, once we leave, we will have to renegotiate trade deals with 27 different countries.A medium-sized company who sells machine parts to France, Germany and Italy will have extra paperwork to complete, at least initially.

I think that part of the argument is a little overblown, but we shouldn't think the trade issue has been dealt with, because no-one can be sure exactly how it's going to play out.

...because this is a unique situation.
Incidentally - is anyone else getting bored with the use of the word 'traitors' by people who refuse to acknowledge that their point of view is just one of many?

It's a little bit pathetic, isn't it?
Pound is surging, as is the FTSE.....
Farage has said it looks like "Remain" will win and a poll to-day says it will be 52-48 remain. With the liklihood there were folk queuing to vote still at 10 o'clock, should the broadcasters not have held on a bit longer before releasing that information?
'Change from within'. What a laugh! On the brink of the threat of the UK's potential exit from the EU the changes required weren't achieved. Who's dreaming?
>right ff that's duty on beamers and mercs then, geddit, works both ways.

Indeed it does/would. But we'd lose out don't we in terms of higher prices unless we can produce our own or find someone else to supply them.

naomi's gagging - good, I shall enjoy it. Just remember my vote cancelled yours out.
DTC, I'm not gagging. I never expected common sense and patriotism to prevail. Cowards all.
we should remember one thing in all of this - it's only an advisory referendum - which ever way it goes.

"Pound is surging, as is the FTSE..... " - neat trick as the stock market closed at 5.
SP: traitors is the correct term. I will never stop using it for those that failed to save us. This is not a view thing this is fundamental. If you collaborate with the enemy you are a traitor end of.
Good grief, more patheticism, if that is a word, and not necessary - why not look forward and how best for the UK to use the results to shape what goes on in Europe going forward - but then I have seen no reasonable logic from somebody on this front, just plain vitriol on their part over these closing days.
So maybe 54% of the population are traitors , TTT?
TTT - the markets continue to trade across the globe - wake up......
Traitors and now cowards.

Outstanding
and out of hours too......
DTCwordfan
