He may be referring to the Johnson/Gove business.
I've never heard the phrase shoo-in before, just had to look it up. Surprised you like Ken Clark, Mikey. I've always thought he was obnoxious!!!
Who knows what he's referring to? The rest of us are talking about the selection of a new leader of the Conservative Party.
It's good to see a politician who has faith in their future prime ministers. :-)
yeah come on mikey get your german in your sky and stump up a pony and join the winning side eh.
Naomi,
Well there was the duplicity of Gove supporting team Boris' leadership last Wednesday night, then without informing Boris and Lynton Crosby, he stands himself on Thursday morning. On a scale of duplicity, thats an 11.
Gromit, that's if you believe it was duplicity. I have my doubts. He may have done Boris a BIG favour. However, if it was one example, it can hardly be said to be 'current duplicitous behaviour of the Tories’. All one of them!
Let's hope the Tory Toffs in the Shires hold a different view from that held by the MPs, who are mostly against leaving the EU.
chiaroscuro, you'll be pleased to hear that the "Tory Toffs in the Shires" mainly voted 'Leave'. Not so bad after all then.

Now rumoured that Stephen Crabb wishes to withdraw. If so we will know on Thursday who are the last two.
So my accumulator is well and truly sunk.

Screw you Gove.
Ask Boris about that, sp, and he'll tell you what positions he is vulnerable to.
Question Author
The plot thickens. Apparently some May supporters, knowing that she was comfortably ahead, have been voting tactically for Gove to prevent Leadsom reaching the last two. There is clearly a Stop Leadsom movement.
Question Author
Crabb is out. He backs May. Gove now favourite for second place.
I wonder what job Crabb has been promised
Crabbe never had the remotest of chances of winning.....not really sure why he put his hat in the ring in the first place.

This is a bloody pantomime !
Question Author
Oh, no it isn't! The pantomime's on the Labour benches.
They do it to get noticed, raise their profile and hope to succeed next time
