Togo...I have already made to clear that some people on here used this thread to have a go at immigrants, when they appeared to play no part in this particular issue...you can see that for yourself at 08:50 this morning.
I am making it abundantly clear that its was the usual attempt to de-road a thread by bringing in the immigrant factor, yet again.

Baldric....Islay and I have both pointed out that it was YMB that first brought up the subject of foreigners, and that immigrants and foreigners are the same thing in this debate, so I'm not sure if there is anything new I can add to this issue !
Although I will try to help if you still don't understand.

This doesn't surprise me at all, the standards at hospitals have steadily declined, I was fortunate to have small operation at a private hospital, and the difference is tremendous, wish that I could afford that for my husband.
My nephew is a paramedic in London, his work is so stressful, he works 12 hour shifts, they had a call to visit a man who was chronically constipated. He managed to walk to the Ambulance but died before he got to the hospital. Without going into gory details the whole ambulance interior and my nephew were covered in the poor mans stomach and bowel contents. They took the man to the hospital, this was well, over his shift times had ended. he then had to clean the Ambulance out for the next patient before he could go home. Knackered and shocked by the death. I don't know how he carries on day after day like that.

Very poor management.
The Management in much of the NHS has ballooned to become mini empires in which car is bottom of the list. By and large they are not medical people as such and so do not have the ethics many doctors/Nurses have.
May I also throw into the pot that with so many 'foreign' nurses on wards their training and previous experience may not be anywhere near the standards we expect in this country?

So its all the fault of immigrants !
I could have guessed !
How on earth do you come to the conclusion that it is 'all the fault of immigrants' from YMB's post?
Did you conveniently miss the first bit of his post?

I don’t know why Mikey objects to the introduction of the subject of immigrants into this thread. According to him they hold the NHS together. As he said at 15.22, “Without immigrants, our precious NHS [that's the NHS that he doesn't trust to keep his brother safe] would have sunk beneath the waves a long time ago”. Strange how after pompously lecturing everyone in his inimitable manner he so often finds he is unable to add anything new. Prone to running out of wind I expect.
Mrs Zacs is a senior NHS Manager having worked her way up through the nursing ranks. Whilst I doubt she would say that immigrants hold the NHS together, she does firmly believe that without them, it would collapse and is extremely concerned that Ms May's refusal to rule out deportation is the craziest most naive thing she's ever heard.
