If you seriously believe - as you infer - that anyone on this site is not 'offended' by Muslin atrocities, and therefore by default is in support of them - then feel free to name the individuals to which you refer, so that they can address your inference.
If - as is more likely - you are simply muttering darkly to yourself, without the courage to back up your offensive observation, then I suggest you withdraw it and move on.

/// When the Christians in Northern Ireland were killing and blowing each other up, they did not avoid having Presenters who were Christian reading the news. ///
There is a slight difference Christians do not wear a type of uniform, there would be nothing said if the presenter just happened to be Muslim, it was the fact that she chose to wear a hijab which was also condoned by Channel Four.
Would there had been the same acceptance as shown by some on here, if a Jewish presenter had been presenting the news of a Israeli/ Palestine massacre?

You are the main culprit, mikey
White child molesters/paedophiles really upset you.
child molesters/paedophiles 'of colour' do not seem to get your outrage going.
Anyone with any sort of ability to retain information will know this.
But as I have said before that ability is not very widespread amongst ABers.

Did anyone actually watch the Fatima Manji interview ? I didn't but others have said that she handled the story rather well.
If that wasn't the case, and she allowed her religion to influence her line of questioning, I would be the first to complain, but there doesn't seem to be any indication that she did.

Is that true of mikey4444?
Or is that simply your impression.
The thing about AB is that it's pretty easy to perform a search on thread history to support or disprove an argument.
As you have introduced this 'fact', are you prepared to prove it?
With say, five examples?

I think there are a couple of issues with your observation -
I don't think the hijab is perceived by Muslims as a 'uniform' - it is a cultural preference worn by some, but by no means all Muslim women who choose to dress this way.
I don't believe her wearing of a hijab was 'condoned' by Channel Four - is it not the case that this is the way the lady dresses on a day-to-day basis, and there is no reason why she should not dress as usual in order to complete her role, which is to present the news?
// Would there had been the same acceptance as shown by some on here, if a Jewish presenter had been presenting the news of a Israeli/ Palestine massacre? //
As advised, I did not see the presentation in question, but I can say without doubt that I would have no issue with a Jewish presenter presenting anything in terms of news - the point is the news, not the presenter.

I am amazed that you have chosen to actually name mikey personally in terms of your disgraceful inference that he does not equally condemn child molestation based on ethnicity.
That is the most appalling personal slur I think I have ever witnessed on AB - and I think you would withdraw it and apologise unreservedly for presuming to know that mikey adopts a more 'lenient' approach to child molesters based ethnicity.

That is because such 'information' exists only in your mind - and thank heavens for that!

I am still stunned that Kelvin MacKenzie is making such a fuss about this. The folk on here I can understand.
The issue seems to be the headscarf, not the religion, which is beyond dumb - as pointed out earlier, it isn't only Muslim women who wear headscarves.
So, Moslem woman sans headscarf fine., or Christian woman plus headscarf also fine, or not or ...
Heavens :-)

Why?
It is absolutely true.

Sameena Ali-Khan is one of the main presenters of ITV News Central, she is not only a lovely and talented presenter, but also a Muslim, but I have yet to see her wearing a Hijab while presenting the news, that is the difference.

Talbot - //Both you and mikey asked me to name names
And now you are upset over that?
Why on earth did you ask if you haven't the stomach for uncomfortable truths? //
Personally I have no issue with the truth, however uncomfortable that may be - but this is not 'the truth' it is a nasty unfounded racist slur and does not belong on a site like this, which is dedicated to fair and equal debate without recourse to such appalling behaviour.
