All it will do is to further entrench the Stopid Vote. What Trump needs to be doing is broadening his appeal, not narrowing it. He needs to persuade the reasonably educated, non-racist, middle of the road voters, and this constant ranting just won't do it. It just makes him look unelectable.
Why the Mexicans pulled out the red carpet for him is beyond me.

ichkeria; //No, there won't be a wall no matter who is President because it's a daft idea// It isn't Trump's idea alone; almost exactly 10 years ago, on September 29, 2006, by a vote of 80–19 the U.S. Senate confirmed H.R. 6061 authorizing, and partially funding the "possible" construction of 700 miles (1,125 km) of physical fence/barriers along the border of Mexico, a large portion of it is already is in existence.
We were in the States in April and found ourselves talking to many sensible-sounding Americans who supported Trump, we were quite surprised. They were also interested in the Brexit referendum and the supermarket bag charge! There seemed to be many who were planning, then, on voting for Trump as a protest vote against the immigration issue, sounded very familiar. As for a wall, didn't some programme recently show that logistically it would be impossible to build?
Jim....I agree but people can only vote for who is available, or abstain.
Only in America would a candidate like Trump emerge as one of the only two possibles.
The Republican Part has a recent history of promoting weirdo people, like Romney and his Magic Underpants, and Sarah Palin, but these people pale into insignificance when seen up against Trump !

/// Tell me AOG....if you were an American, and had the right to vote, would you vote for Trump ? ///
Not an ideal choice but compared to that Clinton woman, their is no contest.
But then this isn't only about Trump is it mikey, you would *** off any republican no matter who they were, it's all part of your political leanings.

When he says "they will pay for it", I don't think he is saying they will actually hand over the dosh. 'In 2013, the United States gave Mexico $51.5 million in foreign aid. Of that amount, $24.8 million, the largest segment, was designated for democracy, human rights and governance. The next largest amount, $10.9 million, was designated for the environment, and $8.4 million was designated for economic development.'
I think the cost will simply be withheld from that amount.
