I said to the lady behind the cheese counter "whats the best cheese for dipping my tortilla chips in ?"

"That's nacho's" came the sharp reply.

Ok I said "I'll get some salsa, if that's your attitude".

Er....?
It'll make the headlines tomorrow.

News, r u sure?
Perhaps you had to be there!
I don't get it.
Definitely should be in News but if it gets moved where should it be moved to?

You couldn't even make a chatterbank thread out of it!
Poor Chip. :-(
I am lost!
Chip's put a 'joke' in The News section, Sharon.
It's a joke?
I think it was meant to be, Talbot.
All I can think is that, 'That's nachos' is a mangled way of saying, 'That's not yours' but I am still struggling to find a joke here.
I'm assuming it must be in the way "That's nacho's" was said but despite saying it to myself a billion times I still don't get it.
Nachos=not yours!.....
Yes I came up with that JD ... still puzzled though.
I'm sure there should be a pun in there somewhere, but I'm damned if I can see it.

I've tried saying, "That's nachos' out loud...still don't get it.
Perhaps the customer should have picked up some cheese at some point in the joke?
Hang on...

Got it.

"That's nachos" is supposed to sound like, "That's not yours".

I think.

In a Mexican accent??
"whats the best cheese for dipping my tortilla chips in ?"

"I picked up some cheese and asked Is this the best cheese for dipping my tortilla chips in ?"

"That's nacho's" came the sharp reply.
