"And NJ - your ignorance is astonishing!"
Please explain my ignorance to me, ummm.
I have stated that the woman cited in the article (the single mother of five) gets £300 per month in Child Benefit. That, of course, is not all she gets. But she gets that sum specifically to provide for her children. It is paid in accordance with the number of dependent children she has and if she had no children she would not receive it. I suggested that from that £300 it is insulting to expect me to believe that she cannot prioritise her expenditure so as to afford a few pounds each month for sanitary products for her daughter. So, please explain my ignorance.
