You can't say that at all, how many people have answered your post? You may have had 120 responses but they are from the same people saying the same thing time and time again.
Some people (myself included) has not bothered giving their opinion so as not too open themselves up to the abuse again!

Or, Islay, maybe AOG’s generation thought “hang on, all these people coming to our country expecting us to integrate and accept their culture is wrong.”
And then the next generation were divided over it because, well, it’s just a few people.
And the next (current) generation are so anaesthetised to it, having always lived with it, been afraid of being called racist, and are too blinkered to see the damage that has been done to our country by letting so many people with different cultures, beliefs and religions into it.

Not that tired old excuse again!
In the 60’s when it was decided that ‘economic development’ was failing, do you seriously think that all the people living in the slums without an income felt they were too good to work?
Doubtful. I’m sure most people would have been desperate to work and get themselves out of such a wretched situation.

Islay; //
//His generation were the reason they came here in the first place to do jobs that the good old brits felt they were too good to do!! //
It wasn't that the Brits "felt they were too good to do" the first immigrants came to Britain because there wasn't enough manpower for the jobs. Why? - because so many men (and women) had died for their country in two world wars.

there are many reasons for the influx of immigrants, not least to work when we had a shortage of manpower after the war, then came HMS Windrush with people from the Caribbean, who filled some of the jobs such as NHS, on the buses and in factories, this wasn't because the Brits were too lazy either.
Then came the odious Idi Amin who expelled thousands of asians those who had British passports and were entitled to live here.

"Naomi, like new judge, you type reams and reams, as if the quantity of your words would make up for the lack of real thought."
That's the third time this week, allen, that you have accused posters with whom you do not agree (me among them) as lacking thought. Do you really believe that I and others with whom you take issue do not think about what they have written? You really must accommodate others' points of view into your debate without making accusations of ignorance against them.
I think it would be mutually beneficial if I simply stopped responding to any posts of yours from now on. As I said earlier, I don't mind you holding a different view to me or you drawing different conclusions. But one thing I don't do is post without thought.
